Help for over-50 job seekers

The CV leads with recent work. The interview uses a story from the last few years. The law page points at the Equality Act and Acas, without pretending to be your solicitor.
Part-time on this site means the employer labelled the job part-time. A flexible-working request is a separate right, for people who are already employees.
An age-proof CV
Recruiters often skim the first half page. Put the last 10 to 15 years of relevant work there, with results. Older roles can be a line each, or grouped under Earlier career.
Returning to work after 50
A return is a hiring conversation, not a confession. Say what you did during the gap in one line, then spend the interview on work you can still do.
Flexible and part-time work
A part-time job is advertised with part-time hours. A flexible-working request is something an employee makes after they have the job. They are different tools.
Interview confidence after 50
Confidence here is a prepared example, not a performance. Pick three stories from the last few years. Each story has a task, what you did, and a result you can say in under a minute.
Your rights under the Equality Act
The Equality Act 2010 lists age as a protected characteristic. An employer must not treat you worse in recruitment because of your age.

Questions
Do I have to put my age on a CV?
No. A UK CV does not need a date of birth or a photograph.
Can an advert say 'recent graduate'?
Acas says that kind of phrase can discriminate by age unless the employer can justify it.
Where are the part-time jobs?
On the part-time jobs page, matched on the title or the job type.
