Cookie Policy
Last Updated: July 2026
01. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) to make CareerPilot work properly and to understand how it's used.
02. Strictly Necessary Cookies
These are required for the Service to function and cannot be switched off — for example, cookies that keep you logged in, remember your session, and protect against fraud. These do not require consent under UK law (PECR) because they are essential to providing the Service you've requested.
03. Functional Cookies
These remember your preferences (such as monthly vs. annual pricing view) to make your experience smoother on return visits.
04. Third-Party Cookies
Our payment processor (Stripe) may set its own cookies when you're on a checkout page, for fraud prevention and to process your payment securely. We do not control these directly — see Stripe's own privacy and cookie policies for details.
05. Analytics
If we use analytics tools to understand how CareerPilot is used, we'll only do so with cookies that are anonymised or aggregated wherever possible, and we'll update this policy to name the specific tool if and when we do.
06. Managing Cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from logging in or using core parts of the Service.
07. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy as our tools change. Check back here for the latest version.
