Job ID: 32413 Position • Plater Location • Near Great Yarmouth Project • Tankage Duration - 8 Weeks Start • November 2026 About the Role This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a skilled and professional workforce delivering a high-profile project within a heavy industrial environment. Working a twelve-day fortnight, you will play a key role in the fabrication, repair and installation of tank components while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. RESPONSIBILITIES Key Requirements The successful candidate will hold a recognised trade qualification and have a proven background working as a Plater within heavy industry. Previous experience on tankage projects is highly desirable, although candidates with experience in sectors such as petrochemical, energy, oil and gas, marine or other industrial environments will also be considered. QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications & Certification Requirements • NVQ Level 3 in Plating or equivalent recognised apprenticeship qualification. • CCNSG. ECITB safety passport. • Any additional site-specific certificates, safety training, or industry-recognised qualifications will be advantageous. • Proven experience working with steel platework within heavy industrial environments • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications • Experience in tank fabrication, maintenance or repair activities is advantageous • Strong commitment to health, safety and quality standards • Ability to work effectively as part of a team • As part of the selection process, candidates will be required to provide evidence of qualifications and successfully complete a trade assessment.
