ADHD-friendly job search tracker

By Nancy Osazee, Founder

One page for a week of job search. A small target each day, three next actions, and a row of boxes for the streak. The point is a short list you can finish, not a second job.

Written by Nancy Osazee, Founder of CareerPilot. This is a practical note, not medical advice and not a diagnosis. The legal points are a short plain summary, not advice about your own situation.

How to use the weekly job search tracker

  1. Set one small target per day. One application, one follow-up, or fifteen minutes of reading a job. Not all three.
  2. Write the next three actions. Only three. When one is done, add another. Do not keep a list of thirty.
  3. Mark the streak. Tick the day if you did the small target. A missed day does not wipe the page.
  4. Move finished applications into a tracker. CareerPilot's application tracker is there when a one-page week is not enough.

Why the list stays short

A long board of "shoulds" is easy to abandon on a noisy day. The sheet only asks for one thing a day and the next three actions. If you miss Tuesday, Wednesday still has one box.

Questions

What counts as the daily target?

Something you can finish in one sitting. Send one application, reply to one recruiter, or read one job properly. If it needs a whole evening, split it.

What if I miss a day?

Leave the box empty and do the next day. The streak is a record, not a punishment.
