Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour Postcode: BN21 3ND Monday to Friday – 5:30pm to 7:30pm 10 hours per week Temporary Holiday Cover – 19 October to 30 October 2026 We are recruiting for a reliable Cleaner to provide temporary holiday cover at a professional banking premises in Eastbourne. This is an evening cleaning position involving lone working and key-holder responsibilities. Applicants must be dependable, security-conscious and comfortable working independently. Duties General cleaning throughout the premises Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors Cleaning offices and communal areas Cleaning and sanitising washrooms Emptying bins and replacing liners Wiping and sanitising high-touch areas Maintaining high standards of cleanliness Following site security and health & safety procedures Requirements DBS check required Adverse credit check required 2 years’ employment history required Employment history must be obtained through the GOV.UK Get Proof of Employment History service Valid Right to Work documentation Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred Comfortable with lone working Comfortable being a key holder and using an alarm panel Reliable, punctual and able to work independently Able to use a telephone time and attendance clocking system Benefits Monday: 5:30pm – 7:30pm Tuesday: 5:30pm – 7:30pm Wednesday: 5:30pm – 7:30pm Thursday: 5:30pm – 7:30pm Friday: 5:30pm – 7:30pm Saturday & Sunday: No work Total: 10 hours per week Pay £15.00 per hour Temporary holiday cover from 19 October to 30 October 2026.
