You will report directly to our Technical Supervisor, and you'll work out of our
Yeovil, UK location on a hybrid work schedule.

Control Systems develops the thermal and motion control systems that help
aircraft take off, land safely and protect the people on board. With more than
10 million passengers per day flying on aircraft equipped with our products and
more than 75% of commercial flights beginning with our engine start systems,
Control Systems reaches farther across the aviation industry than most people
realize.
This is currently a part time role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Implement and maintain robust configuration management processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve configuration issues
• Provide guidance and support to engineering teams on configuration management
best practices
• Conduct configuration audits to verify compliance with requirements
• Ensure changes to product configurations are properly documented, controlled,
and communicated
• Processing HW design data releases and changes
• Ensuring the integrity of EBOM data as it transitions from PLM to SAP
• Serving as a focal for HW CM process and tool related questions and issues to
individuals within the organization
• Identifying problems and coordinating fixes for HW CM related issues without
the benefit of defined procedures
YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical
discipline such as engineering or computer science or 5 years relevant
experience
• Extensive experience in configuration management in the aerospace
industry
• Strong knowledge of configuration management principles and best
practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
