Dementia Support Companion Volunteer - Swansea

The Marie Curie Dementia Support Group Companion Service supports people living with dementia and a terminal illness, helping them stay socially connected, engaged and supported. Our volunteers play an essential role in creating welcoming spaces where people can enjoy socialising, maintain independence, build friendships and improve their wellbeing by get involved with activities. The service would not be able to reach those who need it most without the dedication and compassion of our volunteers.   Help us create positive experiences for attendees, their family members and carers. We are looking for friendly volunteers to support people living with dementia and a terminal illness, helping them and their families stay connected through meaningful group activities, social engagement and relationship-building.
