About the Role:
We are seeking an organised and proactive Financial Planning Assistant to join
our growing Financial Planning team. This is an excellent opportunity for
someone with experience in financial services administration who enjoys
delivering outstanding client service and working in a collaborative
environment.
You'll play an important role in supporting our Financial Planners, helping to
ensure a smooth and efficient client journey while developing your own knowledge
and career within financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate client records and workflows within Intelligent Office
(IO).
• Support Financial Planners with client onboarding, meeting preparation, and
annual reviews.
• Process new business applications and platform transactions, including fund
switches and cash management activities.
• Liaise with clients, providers, life offices, and third parties to obtain
information and progress cases.
• Prepare client documentation, engagement letters, and correspondence.
• Complete AML and identity verification checks in line with regulatory
requirements.
• Obtain valuations and product information from providers and internal
systems.
• Work closely with Paraplanners and Review teams to support the timely
delivery of client reports.
• Assist with Trust administration, Death Claims, and other client servicing
activities.
• Provide regular updates on client cases and contribute to delivering an
excellent client experience.
About You:
Essential
• GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English.
• Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role.
* 1-4 years' experience in a Financial Planning Support role, or at least 1
year as a Trainee Financial Planning Assistant.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of
accuracy.
Desirable
• Experience using Intelligent Office (IO) and financial planning platforms.
• An interest in developing a long-term career within Financial Planning and
Wealth Management.
