Location: Charnwood, LE12 7AH
Job type: Permanent, full-time
Working Hours: 38 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday 6am- 4pm, plus occasional
weekend work (time and half on Saturdays and double time on Sundays), plus a day
off in lieu for working on a bank holiday.
Salary: £33,802.13 (£17.06 per hour) + excellent benefits

As a Refuse and Recycling HGV Driver in our team, you'll provide a complete
waste and recycling service on behalf of the residents and community in
Charnwood.
With a professional, dedicated, and friendly team of Refuse Collection staff, we
ensure that streets, homes and businesses are kept clean, safe and tidy, while
providing the very best levels of customer service to all members of the
community that we serve.
You’ll be entrusted to:
• Carry out a pre-planned route as the driver, with your team of loaders,
working together to collect waste and recycling from residential homes and
commercial properties
• Be the public face of Serco’s Environmental Services team in the community
• Ensure that your vehicle safety checks are completed and that your truck is
clean and ready before setting out on your rounds

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you hold a valid Class 1 or 2 driving
licence and Driver CPC, and you're:
