The Group People Data Assistant plays a key role in supporting HR operations through the management of employee and organisational data within the HiBob People System. This role combines data administration, reporting, and analytical responsibilities to ensure that our people information remains accurate and reliable.   The successful candidate will support the Group People Systems Analyst in delivering system and data improvement projects and ensure ongoing high standards of data quality and integrity. This position is ideal for an individual with a passion for data, systems, and process improvement who enjoys supporting informed decision-making through high-quality people data and reporting. Location: Home Based • Occasional travel to Chorley Head Office Hours: Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm with a one hour break (35 hours) Salary: Competitive dependant on experience and qualifications. Available upon request.   • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis functions). • Familiarity with HR information systems or similar. • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and data governance. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. • Familiarity with GDPR • Effective written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment. • Perform data integrity checks to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or anomalies. • Support colleagues with People System updates, changes, and data adjustments. • Analyse data and highlight issues requiring clarification.  • Maintain and update people system records with high accuracy and confidentiality. • Contribute to process improvements and data governance practices. • Ensure compliance with GDPR, information management legislation and company policies. • Generate standard and ad-hoc reports. • Assist in data clean-up projects, ensuring data consistency and integrity across multiple platforms. • Collaborate with internal teams to gather data requirements and provide data insights. • Contribute to the development and improvement of data collection processes and reporting tools. • Provide administrative support for projects as needed, including scheduling and material preparation. * 25 days holiday (exc.
