What does a great Senior Finance Analyst in Commercial FP&A do? As a Senior Finance Analyst in Commercial FP&A, you will play a key role the accurate reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis of Global Net Margin. You will go beyond the numbers to understand what is driving performance and clearly tell the story behind the results. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will build strong relationships and use your insight to drive value and support decision-making. You will take initiative to identify and resolve issues, while continuously looking for opportunities to improve processes, reporting and ways of working. Responsibilities include: • Play a key role in the budgeting and forecasting process for Global Net Margin across the Agency business, ensuring assumptions, inputs and outputs are robust, accurate and well understood. • Develop and maintain clear bridges between Budget and Forecast, understanding and explaining the key assumptions, movements and business drivers behind changes. • Analyse month-end Global Net Margin performance against Budget, Forecast and Prior Year across Current Month, Quarter-to-Date and Year-to-Date views, providing in-depth analysis of the key drivers across Volume, Yield and Cost of Revenue. • Identify and investigate errors, anomalies and unexpected results in financial reporting, ensuring issues are appropriately communicated, escalated where necessary and resolved. • Transform complex financial data into meaningful insight, clearly communicating the key drivers and story behind the numbers to support decision-making and drive value for stakeholders. • Liaise with Corporate FP&A and other key stakeholders on current performance, forecasts, Budget submissions and longer-term planning. • Take initiative to identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, modelling and ways of working, driving changes that improve accuracy, efficiency and insight. • Support strategic and ad-hoc projects Who we are looking for in this role: • Curious, proactive and self-starting, with strong analytical and financial modelling skills. • Detail-oriented, with the ability to investigate and resolve issues. • Able to turn complex data into meaningful insight and communicate effectively with stakeholders. • Strong interpersonal skills and adaptable in approach. • Eager to learn and develop new skills and technologies. • Strong Excel skills. • Ideally qualified or studying towards a professional qualification (CIMA or ACCA).
