Job Description ​​​​​​Location: Warrington Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (Overlapping shifts) Reports to: Quality Assurance Manager Lead & Inspire: Plan and coordinate the QA team’s daily roadmap. Support, mentor, and motivate your team through regular 1-to-1s, reviews, and rota/holiday management to inspire continuous personal development. Drive Quality Culture: Collaborate pro-actively with production teams to imbed a "visit-ready, every day" mindset. Participate in and direct audits of production processes, ensuring only high-quality raw materials make it into our customer boxes. Solve & Prevent: Coordinate non-conformance findings, tracking corrective actions with department managers. Challenge recurring issues and help design permanent solutions alongside the QA Manager. Supervise Pick Line QC: Oversee Pick Line Quality Controllers to optimize replenishment, evolve data capture, resolve live issues, and directly boost picking performance. Develop Systems: Support the Technical System team in updating and creating robust procedures for our Quality Management System (QMS). Innovate & Test: Coordinate QA requirements for new raw materials, managing shelf-life reviews, transit trials, and defrost trials. Safety First: Ensure the QA Team operates safely, actively championing site health, safety, and environmental continuous improvements. Skills & Experience Required Proven Background: Previous QA experience gained within a similar fast-paced environment (Food/E-commerce/Manufacturing preferred). Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of HACCP, BRC, and GMP standards, alongside solid auditing experience. Leadership & Collaborating: A confident team player who can work cross-functionally and comfortably supervise a shift-based team. Problem-Solving Skills: An eagle eye for detail, flexibility, and the ability to find solutions under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Tech Savvy: High level of computer literacy, particularly across Email, Excel, and Word. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively align with internal teams and external customers.
