🚀Early Years and Business Services Skills Coach – North West
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000
Location: Remote with travel across North West (and Wolverhampton for meetings/training)
As a Skills Coach, you will deliver dynamic and effective training sessions to Early Years and Business Admin apprentices both in group settings and on a one-to-one basis. You'll support learners through every stage of their apprenticeship journey, from induction through to completion, ensuring excellent attendance, retention, achievement, and progression.
This is a rewarding opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to delivering exceptional learning experiences and helping apprentices build the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to succeed.
This role offers a blend of home-based working and travel within the North West/Manchester/North Staffs and South Yorkshire area to visit learners in their workplace, therefore candidates should be based within the North/North West. In addition, there will be a requirement to attend training sessions and team meetings in Wolverhampton and the West Midlands.
✨ What You’ll Be Doing ✨
🎓 Training & Learning 🎓
📚 Deliver engaging training across Early Years and Business Admin apprenticeships at Level 2 & 3
🚀 Facilitate inspiring inductions and creative, standards-aligned learning programmes.
✍️ Support delivery in English and Maths Functional Skills up to Level 2.
🌟 Create an inclusive, motivating environment that encourages participation and achievement.
📈 Manage ILPs, monitor progress and set challenging learning goals.
📝 Assessment & Learner Development 📝
🎯 Conduct initial assessments and set personalised targets.
📂 Assess qualifications and apprenticeship portfolios against awarding body standards.
💬 Provide constructive feedback and meaningful progress reviews.
🤝 Deliver workplace visits and one-to-one coaching to support development.
💡 Identify and overcome barriers to learning, keeping apprentices on track.

What You Need to Bring to the Table ✅
✔ Strong background in early years with business administration duties
✔ Experienced in delivering apprenticeship training and assessing learner portfolios.
✔ Passionate about teaching, learning, and learner success.
✔ An engaging and confident presenter with excellent communication skills.
✔ Knowledgeable in English and Maths Functional Skills delivery up to Level 2.
✔ Organised, proactive, and able to manage a varied caseload of apprentices.
✔ TAQA or equivalent assessor qualification
✔ As this is a peripatetic role, you’ll need a full driving license and access to a car, as training will take place across employer locations.
