HGV Technician
• Felixstowe
Up to £20 per hour!! + extra payments for call outs!
£1,500 Signing bonus! (payable after 6 months continuous service)
VAS payments:
* £155 per week whilst on call out
* additional payment per call out
* paid per hour @ over time, time and a half, double time Sunday and Bank
Holidays!
Working a rotating shift earlies/lates - 0600hrs to 1400hrs/1400hrs to 2200hrs -
alternative Saturdays 0600hrs to 1400hrs @ overtime - time and a half

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO US
• Fully qualified HGV Technician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Experience working with HGVs or commercial vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills.
• A team player with a proactive attitude.
• Valid UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential)
We welcome applications from professionals with experience across heavy vehicle
maintenance and repair. If you have previously worked as an HGV Technician, HGV
Mechanic, Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanic, or Commercial Vehicle Technician, your
skills are highly relevant to this role. We also value transferable expertise
from allied industries; candidates with backgrounds as a PSV Technician, PCV
Mechanic, Bus and Coach Technician, or a Heavy Plant Mechanic / Plant Technician
are strongly encouraged to apply, as full product training on our modern fleet
will be provided.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
• Carry out service, maintenance, and repair work on Volvo HGVs to the highest
standards.
• Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Perform safety inspections, MOT preparations, and routine maintenance.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in line with
manufacturer standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment
