You’ll partner directly with the Global CTO and leadership team, turning financial, investment, and performance data into actionable insights that shape business decisions. This is a highly visible role where you'll influence investment priorities, drive financial performance, and help create greater transparency across a growing technology environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Partner with the Global CTO and leadership team as the primary finance contact, translating financial information into actionable business insights. • Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for the Commercial Software teams. • Deliver month-end reporting, variance analysis, and commentary on actual versus budget and forecast performance. • Monitor and report on key software commercial KPIs, including headcount, cloud spend, SaaS licensing, and project profitability. • Develop financial models, investment appraisals, and business cases to support strategic decision-making. • Support capital expenditure and operating expenditure classification and development cost capitalisation activities. • Constructively challenge cost and investment decisions to maximise business value and returns. • Improve reporting processes, data quality, and operational efficiency through the use of BI tools and best practices. • Provide ad hoc analysis and commercial support for initiatives, contracts, and pricing decisions. • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA). * 3+ years PQE. • Proven experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, or business partnering roles. • Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills. • Advanced Excel skills including complex formulas, lookups, and pivot tables. • Strong financial modelling capability. • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. • Commercially minded with strong analytical capability. • Experience supporting Commercial Software, Product, Engineering teams, or senior technology leaders. • Understanding of development cost capitalisation and SaaS revenue/cost metrics. • Experience in a technology or SaaS business preferred. • Power BI or similar BI/reporting tool experience preferred. • Comfortable using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT. #LI-JW1#FCB#LI-Hybrid [https://publicstorage.dc2.pageuppeople.com/889/ProviderAsset/0c223ede-7e11-4ca4-a90e-e37704d6b8a1.png]
