About you 👤
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across stakeholders.
Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion and integrity.
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and develop within Finance.
Takes ownership, works independently, and uses initiative to solve problems.
Previous internship, placement year, or work experience in Finance, Accounting, or a business environment.
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics or another ERP/accounting system.
Experience with reconciliations and month-end processes.
Familiarity with accounting principles and financial controls.
About the role 🧭
As part of the Controllership team, this role supports a broad range of Finance activities across Treasury and Finance Operations. The position provides financial and operational support across multiple entities and banking relationships, while contributing to the maintenance of strong financial controls, regulatory compliance, and efficient business processes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities 📌
Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Prepare payment batches and supporting document for review and approval.
Support online banking administration, KYC activities and banking documentation.
Assist with bank account maintenance and day-to-day banking queries.
Prepare journals and support month-end accounting activities.
Assist with intercompany reconciliations.
Support Accounts Payable, Account Receivable and Financial Accounting processes.
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
Support internal and external audits.
Liaise with stakeholders across the business to resolve finance-related queries.
Contribute to process improvements and finance projects as required.
