A Day in the Life:
Manage the day-to-day delivery of the franchise transformation, supporting
corporate-to-franchise conversions and the development of the future franchise
platform. Turn agreed priorities into practical plans, coordinate workstreams
and lead assigned projects through to implementation, readiness and adoption.
Reporting to the Director, Franchise Transformation Office, you will work with
the Transaction Lead, Director of Franchise Platform and functional workstream
owners. You will maintain a reliable view of progress, challenge delivery gaps
and recommend solutions. The Director retains overall programme accountability,
governance design and executive escalations, with you taking ownership of
delivery within your agreed remit.
What You'll Do:
Manage the integrated transformation plan
• Maintain the integrated plan across transactions, capability development,
technology and organisational change, keeping milestones, owners,
dependencies and delivery dates current.
• Work with teams to translate agreed priorities into executable activities,
test timelines and identify critical-path delays and recovery actions.
Lead assigned projects and delivery activities
• Take end-to-end ownership of defined projects or work packages, agreeing
scope, deliverables, success measures and resource needs with the Director,
Franchise Transformation Office and relevant owners.
• Coordinate contributors, resolve day-to-day delivery issues and drive actions
to completion, escalating changes to scope, funding or priorities for
approval.
Coordinate conversion and transition readiness
• Work with the Transaction Lead and functional teams to track readiness across
people, processes, systems, contracts and assets for each conversion.
• Maintain day 1 checklists, transition services agreement (TSA) trackers and
separation dependencies; gather evidence, follow up gaps and prepare
readiness assessments for review.
Support franchise platform capability delivery
• Coordinate delivery plans with the Director of Franchise Platform and
capability owners, tracking design, build, testing, launch and adoption
milestones.
• Confirm deliverables, dependencies and readiness criteria are documented, and
follow up cross-functional actions needed to launch capabilities on schedule.
Run programme reporting and governance routines
• Coordinate workstream reviews and prepare dashboards, agendas and Steering
Committee materials, checking that updates are accurate and supported by
evidence.
• Maintain action and decision logs, follow up commitments and prepare clear
options and recommendations for decisions by the Director, Franchise
Transformation Office.
Manage risks and dependencies
• Maintain risk, issue and dependency logs; challenge incomplete updates and
work with owners to agree mitigation plans, responsibilities and deadlines.
• Identify delivery, sequencing and resource constraints early, facilitate
resolution across teams and escalate material risks with an assessment of
impact and proposed actions.
Track benefits and investment
• Work with the Strategy and Execution team to consolidate investment, benefits
and performance data against agreed baselines and targets.
• Analyse variances, validate assumptions with owners and highlight where
delivery delays or cost changes could affect the transformation business
case.
Support change and transition to business as usual
• Prepare stakeholder updates and coordinate communication and adoption
activities with workstream owners, following the agreed change plan.
• Develop practical templates and playbooks, capture lessons learned and
coordinate handovers with clear ownership, documentation and outstanding
actions.
What We're Looking For:
* 3-5 years of relevant experience in transformation, programme or project
management, strategic PMO, consulting, separation, integration or operational
change, including independent ownership of a project or workstream.
• Proven ability to coordinate complex cross-functional delivery, influence
stakeholders without direct authority and hold teams to agreed commitments.
• Strong planning discipline, including critical-path analysis, milestone
tracking, dependency management, risk assessment and action follow-through.
• Experience preparing governance materials and concise management reports,
with the judgement to distinguish routine delivery issues from matters
requiring escalation.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills, including confidence interpreting
business cases, tracking costs and benefits, and investigating variances.
• Clear written, verbal and presentation skills, with proficiency in Excel,
PowerPoint and project-management tools.
• A practical, organised approach, attention to detail and the ability to
prioritise competing demands and solve problems in a changing environment.
• Experience in separation, transition services, capability development or
change implementation is desirable; franchise, hospitality, mobility or
network-business experience is an advantage
