Because our clients receive care throughout the week, the role requires a degree of flexibility. There will be occasions when you need to carry out visits or provide support outside standard office hours. You will also take part in the on-call rota approximately once every three weeks. We aim to plan workloads sensibly and share responsibilities fairly across the team, but the successful candidate will need to be comfortable working flexibly when the needs of clients and Care Professionals require it. Qualifications We are interested in hearing from people who already have supervisory experience as well as experienced care professionals who are ready to progress. You should have: Good experience working in domiciliary care, home care or a similar adult social care environment. Experience as a Field Care Supervisor, Care Supervisor, Senior Care Professional, Senior Carer, Team Leader or similar role. A strong understanding of person-centred care. Good knowledge of safeguarding and safe care practice. The confidence to observe care practice and provide constructive feedback. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good organisation and record-keeping skills. The ability to work independently and use sound judgement when visiting clients and Care Professionals. A supportive, calm and practical approach to solving problems. The flexibility to respond appropriately when support is required outside standard office hours. A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care would be desirable, although we are also interested in candidates with strong practical experience and the right values.
