The Assistant Reinsurance Technician provides administrative and technical support to the Reinsurance and Underwriting teams, ensuring accurate and timely processing of reinsurance transactions and reporting activities. This role will support day to day referrals, key reporting and control processes and contributes to the optimal placement of property reinsurance alongside third party arrangements. Why join us? What you'll be doing Process reinsurance placements accurately and efficiently within authority and service standards. Support the administration and reconciliation of third-party arrangements. Manage and prioritise team workloads to meet operational deadlines. Update and distribute weekly and monthly reports. Assist with annual reinsurance set-up activities following documented procedures. Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders across the business. Suggest process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and performance. What you'll need to have Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to manipulate data, use formulas, and maintain reporting spreadsheets. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
