Company Description
ENODA’s world-class team are building the first truly decentralised, intelligent energy system that will reshape how we generate, store, and distribute energy.
Foundational to our holistic and integrated platform approach, the ENODA PRIME® Exchanger is a first-of-a-kind dynamic power flow hardware designed to maintain “on-target” frequency and voltage, increasing grid efficiency and capacity for distributed energy sources like renewables and EVs.
ENODA ENSEMBLE™ is our ecosystem co-ordinator of ENODA and third-party assets, able to forecast, aggregate, and bid capacity in real time, functioning as a networked “operating system” for the electrical grid.
This is more than simply managing electricity flow. It is about creating the foundational system to prepare for a radically more capable, prosperous, and intelligent future.

Job Description
We have an opportunity for an experienced People Operations Partner to join our business as we continue to scale.
Initially, the role will work across operations, select talent initiatives and business partnering, where you will provide cover for the People Business Partner and take on casework during periods of increased demand. As ENODA grows, there is scope for the role to become more focused on People Operations and to develop towards leading the function.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to combine hands-on generalist and employee relations work with operational improvements, helping managers make sound people decisions and ensuring employees receive a consistent, effective support.
Responsibilities:
Taking ownership to improve employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, employee changes, leave and offboarding
Developing effective use of the HRIS, including workflows, reporting, data quality and access controls
Coordinating monthly payroll delivery with Finance and external providers, ensuring accurate inputs, timely checks and reconciliations
Maintaining clear policies, templates and records, and coordinating right-to-work and immigration administration, with specialist support where needed
Supporting People data governance and audit requirements
Translating employee and manager needs into practical system requirements
Helping plan the processes, controls and technology needed as headcount, locations and operational complexity grow
Supporting delivery of performance and development cycles, providing manager guidance and keeping processes and systems working effectively
Contributing to employee and manager development initiatives
Supporting agreed job architecture, reward and organisational change projects
Providing practical advice to managers on performance, absence, employee concerns, policy application and day-to-day People decisions.
Providing People Business Partner cover during absence or peaks in demand, maintaining continuity and clear case handovers
Supporting employee relations cases when needed
Qualifications
CIPD Level 5 qualification or above.
Substantial People generalist experience, including advising managers and independently managing employee relations cases in a UK employment context
Experience in a People or HR Business Partner role, or demonstrable business partnering responsibilities within a generalist position
Practical experience improving People operations, employee lifecycle processes and People systems
Sound working knowledge of UK employment practice and the judgement to recognise when specialist advice is needed
Confident working with People data and reporting, with strong attention to accuracy and confidentiality
Ability to move between sensitive casework, manager support and structured project delivery, agreeing priorities, and escalating competing demands
Clear communication and a practical approach to solving problems.
The following would be advantageous:
Exposure to performance management, talent development, employee listening, or other talent management initiatives
Experience with Personio or a comparable HRIS, including workflow configuration or implementation
Experience in a growing technology, engineering or manufacturing organisation, or a business operating across multiple countries
Interest in developing towards People Operations leadership as the organisation grows.
