good customer outcomes and meet regulatory expectations. They also lead and
coordinate Nationwide's engagement with regulators, helping maintain consistent,
open and cooperative regulatory relationships.
Economic Crime
This team helps protect Nationwide, its members and their money from financial
crime. They set policies and standards, provide specialist advice, and oversee
controls relating to areas such as fraud, anti-money laundering, sanctions,
bribery, and corruption.
Operational Risk Oversight

risks are identified, assessed, and managed effectively. With a strong focus on
technology, resilience, and governance, they help ensure robust controls are in

Successful completion of the placement may help shape future career choices and
could provide a route into one of our Risk & Governance Skills Development
Programmes after university.

We forge our own path at Nationwide.
As a mutual, we’re owned by our members - those customers who bank, save or have

customers as the engine of our own profit. We share our profits with them and
put their needs first. Always there when they need us. Supporting them and their
lives.

impact, and truly care about our customers, you’re one of us.
At Nationwide, you are challenged to grow and rewarded for doing so. Valued.
