fraud to join our Voice Biometrics Team and help support Nationwide in the
prevention and detection of fraud and scams across our portfolio.
You’ll use your in-depth knowledge of fraud and Nationwide systems to ensure
we’re protecting our members and the Society from loss. This role will provide
the opportunity to work within Protect as part of a team of subject matter
experts. For us, it’s not just about having the right background. You need to
have a keen eye for spotting trends, be able to work well independently and
collaboratively, and be driven to learn and succeed.
You will be working 35 hours per week, between the hours of 8am to 8pm, Monday
to Friday plus 1 in 4 weekends. Shift patterns typically based on a 3-week
rotation of early, mid and late shifts. You will also need to be available to
work weekends and bank holidays.
This is a 12-month secondment opportunity.
At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding
relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues
together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to
home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and
to feel connected.
For this job you'll be located at our nearest regional office or hub. There will
be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration and in some
locations you’ll be expected to spend at least two days a week, or if part time
you'll spend 40% of your working time, in the office. If your application is
successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this works.
Nationwide is committed to the redeployment of our employees impacted by change,
as such applications for redeployment candidates will be prioritised in this
recruitment process.
If you’re a colleague on long-term absence (for example, on parental leave) or a
temporary worker, please use your personal email address to submit an
application.
