About the role Provide accounting expertise across Record-to-Report processes for the Europe region and coordinate statutory reporting activities. The role supports accurate and compliant financial reporting, effective financial controls, audit readiness and continuous improvement, while partnering with stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial outcomes. Record-to-Report Support & Governance • Coordinate and support Europe RTR activities to ensure timely and accurate financial close outcomes • Support month-end close processes, including journal and reconciliation reviews, such as accrual of audit fees, accounting service fee, loan interest, deemed sales at month end. • Analyse month-end results, balance sheet movements and key financial trends, providing insights and recommendations to support effective decision-making • Work closely with broader TBS teams (AP, AR, Customer Service) to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting activities • Support the investigation and resolution of accounting and reporting issues to maintain accurate financial records. • Partner with Commercial Finance, Supply Chain, Group Finance and Shared Services teams to resolve operational and compliance issues. • Participate in and contribute to ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives Statutory Reporting, Audit and Regulatory Reporting • Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and associated reporting requirements for Europe entities. • Analyse balance sheet accounts, statutory reporting impacts and key financial movements, identifying issues and recommending corrective actions where required. • Coordinate audit requests, information gathering and responses with auditors and internal stakeholders. • Prepare audit schedules, supporting documentation and analysis to support statutory and group audit requirements. • Participate in internal and external audit activities and support the implementation of agreed actions and recommendations. • Support the completion of Office for National Statistics surveys, Payment Times Reporting and other regulatory reporting requirements supported by TBS. Systems, Data & Continuous Improvement • Leverage ERP systems, reporting tools, and automation to improve accuracy and efficiency • Support process simplification and digital/AI-enabled improvements where practical. • Support the embedding of a continuous improvement mindset across teams and partners Financial Compliance and Controls • Execute and monitor compliance controls in accordance with established policies and procedures. • Conduct control self-assessments and document findings. • Identify process and control improvement opportunities and recommend remediation actions About you • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance. CPA, CA or equivalent professional qualification * 3+ years’ experience in financial accounting, statutory reporting or audit within multinational environments. • Experience supporting statutory audits, regulatory compliance and financial close processes. • Big 4 experience or top 10 accounting firm preferred. • Experience working with Shared Services and offshore teams.
