THE TEAM
Our Data and Analytics function is evolving around a domain-led operating model, bringing data closer to the business and accelerating value delivery. As one of a small number of Data Leads aligned to key business domains, you'll sit at the intersection of business priorities and data capability.
Working alongside specialists across Data Engineering, Architecture, Data Science, Analytics and Governance, you'll help shape the future of data at easyJet while influencing outcomes across one of the most commercially important areas of the business.
THE ROLE
As Data Lead, Commercial Domain, you'll be the senior data partner to Commercial leadership, responsible for defining and driving the domain's data agenda.
You'll translate commercial strategy into a clear and prioritised data roadmap, ensuring data investments deliver measurable value across revenue, efficiency, customer experience, risk and compliance.
This is a highly visible role where you'll lead through influence rather than direct line management, bringing together expertise from across the central data function to deliver outcomes that matter.
What you'll be doing:
Owning and shaping the Commercial domain data strategy and roadmap.
Defining, prioritising and tracking a portfolio of high-value data initiatives.
Acting as a trusted advisor to Commercial leadership on data opportunities and challenges.
Translating business problems into data products, analytics use cases and delivery priorities.
Coordinating cross-functional delivery squads made up of analysts, engineers, architects, scientists and product specialists.
Driving adoption of data products and embedding product-thinking approaches across the domain.
Securing the right resources and managing competing priorities across shared teams.
Championing data governance, quality and compliance standards within the Commercial domain.
Building strong relationships across business areas to unlock enterprise-wide opportunities.
Developing data maturity and promoting data ownership across stakeholders and teams.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Significant experience in data and analytics, ideally within aviation, travel, retail, financial services, hospitality, telecoms or similar industries.
A strong track record of delivering measurable commercial outcomes through data.
Experience influencing senior stakeholders and operating as a trusted business partner.
Proven success coordinating multi-disciplinary teams in a matrix environment.
Strong understanding of revenue management, pricing, inventory optimisation, demand forecasting or ancillary revenue analytics.
Knowledge of modern data platforms, ideally Databricks, with familiarity across cloud technologies.
Understanding of data products, domain-led operating models and modern governance practices.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging way.
Strong stakeholder management, prioritisation and decision-making skills.
A pragmatic, outcome-focused approach and the confidence to operate in ambiguity.
WHAT YOU'LL GET IN RETURN
Up to 30%25 maximum bonus
Private Medical Insurance
7%25 pension contributions
Excellent staff travel benefits
25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays
Annual credit towards an easyJet holiday
Various flexible benefits and extras
