Aftersales and Quality Control Coordinator
LOCATION: Aylesford, Kent, Office based
WORKING HOURS: 8.00am – 4.30pm
CONTRACT: Full-time, Permanent

What We’re Looking for
We’re looking for an organised and customer-focused Aftersales & Quality Control Executive to manage warranty claims, coordinate repairs and support quality control activities. You’ll handle customer enquiries, product inspections and related administration, ensuring everything is managed accurately and efficiently. Working closely with the Quality Control & Compliance Supervisor, you’ll play an important role in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high product quality standards.
What You'll Be Doing
Aftersales Support
Handle incoming enquiries and obtain details from the customer of the warranty claim/repair to ensure their requirements are met.
Maintain orders using our Operating Management System.
Liaise with sales teams across all international offices as required.
Liaise with the relevant teams across the business to arrange the collection and delivery of products.
Liaise with the relevant teams to plan the works to be completed, ensuring all additional consumables such as fabric, is ordered.
Weekly reporting on the work that has been planned and further work scheduled.
Escalate recurring quality or service issues to the Quality Control & Compliance Supervisor and support the implementation of agreed corrective actions.
Occasional customer site visits to carry our repairs as necessary.
Assist with upholstery teams as required.
Quality Control
Opening pallets and products to complete a physical inspection, recording any issues and defects.
Move rejected items into the quarantine area within the warehouse.
Communicate inspection findings to suppliers and maintain records of actions and responses.
Support the Quality Control and Compliance Manager to maintain Health and Safety across the business.
Record and escalate any identified process gaps or non-conformances to the Quality Control & Compliance Supervisor.
Carry out other tasks associated to your role that might not be listed.
What success looks like
You’ll keep warranty and repair activity running smoothly, respond to customers promptly, and ensure quality issues are identified, recorded and resolved efficiently.
Ideally, you’ll have:
Ideally you have worked in the furniture industry and have upholstery experience, but this is not essential.
Excellent IT skills with competent use of Microsoft Office (mainly Outlook and Excel).
Previous experience working in an Administrative/Customer Support position.
There will be an element of physical work therefore you must be willing and able to complete this, manual handling training will be provided.
Confident, pro-active, approachable and happy to turn your hand to anything required.
Practical and commercially minded.
Hardworking, conscientious and take pride in your work.
Analytical, with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
