Carpenter Joiner

Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other materials accurately. Manufacture and install doors, window frames, staircases, skirting, architraves, cabinets, and other bespoke joinery. Carry out first-fix and second-fix carpentry and joinery work. Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and effectively. Fit and install timber components on construction sites and in workshops. Ensure all joinery is accurately aligned, levelled, fitted, and finished to a high standard. Repair, modify, and adjust existing timber structures and fittings. Work closely with other trades and site supervisors to meet project requirements. Maintain tools and equipment and keep the work area clean and organised. Follow all site and workshop health and safety procedures. Proven experience as a Carpenter/Joiner or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of carpentry and joinery techniques. Experience with both first-fix and second-fix carpentry. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements. Good attention to detail and high-quality finishing skills. Experience with bespoke or finish joinery is an advantage. Relevant carpentry/joinery qualification, apprenticeship, or trade certification is preferred. Physically fit and able to work on construction sites and at heights where required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
