Role Due to continued growth within our Construction Department, we are looking to appoint Full& Part Time Lecturer's in Carpentry & Joinery to join us from September 20 26. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a developing curriculum area, helping to shape provision and inspire the next generation of skilled tradespeople. Key Responsibilities Teach a range of courses as assigned, ensuring that every student receives the guidance they need to succeed. Implement effective feedback and assessment systems to monitor learning progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Uphold the standards of our Quality Assurance framework. Manage course administration and organisation as needed. Contribute to innovative curriculum development and implementation. Maintain a professional and motivating learning environment, applying effective behaviour management practices. Continuously develop your teaching skills for the benefit of student outcomes. Essential Criteria Possess a minimum of a relevant Level 3 vocational qualification Track record of successful teaching experience across a range of levels, including up to level 3 Recent industry-related experience relevant to the academic discipline Detailed knowledge of relevant course subject matter and examination and assessment requirements Understanding of value added and the use of progress performance measures Experience in developing and maintaining external partnerships to enrich teaching and learning.
