Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Accounts/ personal tax Semi-Senior to join our team. You will work closely with clients and colleagues alike, preparing year end accounts for a varied client base. Key Responsibilities Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Liaise with clients to resolve queries in a timely and professional manner. Complete all assignments within the allocated budget and on time. Produce draft tax computations for clients. Produce year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies in accordance with the relevant accounting standards. Delivering the self-assessment tax return preparation for clients with a variety of sources of income to include investment portfolios, rental income, pensions and overseas income. To assist with other taxation paperwork and returns such as 60 day Capital Gains Tax returns and liaise with HM Revenue & Customs on client matters. Complete VAT returns. Key Skills and competencies Good computer skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work as part of a team, as well as using own initiative when required. Good organisational and administrative skills. Excellent attention to detail. Proven analytical skills. Qualifications & Experience AAT/ATT Qualified Previous experience gained within General Practice. Knowledge of accounting standards would be an advantage.
