Our Finance team does far more than manage the numbers. We're looking for a Head of Finance to join our Finance team and play a key role in helping us build tomorrow's world. This is a key leadership role with the opportunity to reshape how our Finance team partners with the business and delivers value. So, what’s the mission? You'll play a key role in shaping the direction of our Finance function and supporting the delivery of our strategic goals. Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll bring together commercial thinking, financial expertise and strong leadership to ensure Finance delivers both valuable business insight and robust financial control. Leading our Business Partnering team, you'll inspire, coach and develop talented colleagues, creating a culture where people can perform at their best and build rewarding careers. You'll focus on developing capability, strengthening succession plans and nurturing future leaders, ensuring the team is equipped to support the evolving needs of the business. Partnering with senior leaders across the organisation, you'll turn financial information into meaningful insight that drives better decision-making and improves business performance. As a key member of the Finance leadership team, you'll help shape priorities, influence strategic direction and champion initiatives that enhance reporting, planning and analysis. This is a highly visible role that will see you working across Finance and operational teams to build strong relationships and drive collaboration. You'll oversee the delivery of core financial processes, including month end, budgeting and forecasting, while identifying opportunities to simplify ways of working and make greater use of automation. Your ability to improve processes and create capacity for deeper analysis will help strengthen Finance's role as a trusted partner and enable the business to make confident, informed decisions for the future. What skills are required? Qualified accountant (CIMA or equivalent) Strategic finance leader with strong commercial acumen and experience partnering with senior stakeholders to drive business performance and decision-making Proven people leader with a track record of developing high-performing teams, building capability and fostering a culture of continuous improvement Expert in financial planning, reporting and governance, including budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, financial controls and risk management Experience within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production operations and cost management Change-focused and results-driven, with experience leading transformation initiatives, improving processes and influencing cross-functional stakeholders to deliver strategic outcomes Benefits Hybrid working with two days a week at our Head Office in Elland Guaranteed Christmas holidays Development opportunities 34 days per annum or the equivalent in hours (inclusive of bank holidays) Health care cash plan – support with Dental, Optical, Prescription costs and many more!
