We’re looking for a talented and ambitious Senior Economic Crime Investigator to
join our Suspicious Activity Investigations team within AML Operations. This is
an exciting opportunity to play a key role in protecting Nationwide and its
members from economic crime, including money laundering, terrorist financing,
sanctions breaches, tax evasion, bribery and corruption. In a fast-paced and
evolving environment, you’ll build specialist expertise, make meaningful
decisions, and help shape the future of the role while supporting colleagues to
deliver the right outcomes for customers.
Working across complex investigations, you’ll analyse information, assess risk,

customer engagement element through telephone and email contact, as well as
opportunities to contribute to projects focused on improving frameworks,
identifying emerging trends, and enhancing how we manage risk.
This role is ideal for someone with recent economic crime investigation
experience within AML Operations, strong analytical and stakeholder management
skills, and a passion for developing others. Every day brings new challenges and
opportunities to grow, including the chance to study for the Advanced ICA in AML
once established in role. With clear development pathways, exposure to
leadership responsibilities, including covering Team Manager duties when
required, and working hours Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern between
8am and 5pm, this is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your
economic crime career.

temporary worker, please use your personal email address to submit an
application.
