A Day in the Life:  The Director, Franchise Platform is accountable for leading the design, build and execution of global initiatives and capabilities required for development of the future Franchise Platform offering at Hertz. This role is critical to create a compelling, differentiated, and scalable proposition that gives franchisees the products, services, tools, and support they need to succeed.  Reporting to the Global Head of Franchise Growth, this role will define the Franchise Platform roadmap within the overall Franchise Growth strategy and be accountable for the end-to-end execution of initiatives within it.  The Director will represent the Franchise business to turn Hertz's global capabilities, brand, scale, and expertise into a market leading franchise platform. The role will connect capabilities from across the organisation into an integrated franchisee experience, balancing a consistent global offering with regional/local flexibility.  This is a delivery and ownership role requiring excellence in execution. The Director is expected to work with regional coverage teams and other stakeholders to identify the most important franchisee needs, mobilise service and product owners across Hertz, hold delivery partners accountable, and ensure the platform drives franchisee profitability, customer experience, network performance, loyalty, trust, and EBITDA growth.  Location: The role will either be based in our International HQ • Uxbridge, London or based in our Global HQ • Estero, Florida.    What You'll Do:  Platform Leadership & Proposition Ownership:  • Lead the Franchise Platform success pillar, translating the Franchise Growth strategy into a clear, prioritised, and sequenced multi-year roadmap across all brands and regions  • Own a portfolio of franchise platform design & build initiatives from business case through design, pilot, launch, adoption, continuous improvement, and benefits realisation  • Execute the build out of a market leading global franchise value proposition with the appropriate balance between a consistent global core and regional / local flexibility  • Work with regional teams to set measurable outcomes for adoption, franchisee satisfaction, unit economics, customer experience, service quality, revenue generation and EBITDA contribution    Franchisee Insight & Experience:  • Create a fact-based view of franchisee platform needs across the full lifecycle, from onboarding and mobilisation through day-to-day operation, growth, renewal, and transformation  • Translate common pain points and unmet needs into a prioritised platform roadmap, using co-design and pilots to validate value before scaling  • Simplify how franchisees discover, access, understand, and use Hertz capabilities, reducing friction and creating a consistent experience across functions, regions and brands    Products, Services & Platform Innovation:  • Work with relevant Hertz teams to build capabilities and continuously improve a coherent portfolio of franchise-facing products and services  • Execute initiatives to build a sustainable and scalable franchise offering that operates consistently rather than through fragmented or bespoke support  • Develop commercial models for new platform services, clearly defining what is included within the core franchise offering and additional mandatory / optional services  • Build a disciplined franchise innovation pipeline that identifies, tests, scales, improves, or retires propositions based on franchisee value, strategic fit, adoption, and economics    Execution, Adoption & Value Realisation:  • Represent the Franchise business as the accountable owner of platform initiatives working with and mobilizing cross-functional teams  • Establish disciplined governance and execution best practice, maintaining visibility of progress, dependencies, investment requirements, risks, critical decisions, and benefits delivery  • Assign clear product and service owners, delivery milestones, acceptance criteria, resource plans, and accountabilities across each initiative  • Provide concise executive reporting and recommendations, escalating barriers early and securing the decisions and resources required to deliver at pace    What We’re Looking For: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. • A Master’s degree (MBA or similar) is advantageous but not required. • Extensive experience in franchise development, growth, or expansion, ideally within multi‑location, service‑based, or mobility‑focused industries. • A proven track record of driving franchise network growth, including market planning, territory development, and successful franchise recruitment. • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to evaluate business cases, assess franchisee financials, strategic partner. • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to present to senior leaders, negotiate agreements, and represent the brand externally. • A data‑driven mindset with the ability to interpret market insights, performance metrics, and competitive intelligence to inform decision‑making. • A proactive, growth‑oriented mindset with the ability to identify new opportunities, challenge the status quo, and drive continuous improvement.   What You’ll Get: • Competitive salary • Bonus  • Company Car or Car Allowance  • Equity • Private health care  • Annual
