Job Description Salary: Up to £35,090.16 Location: Hams Hall Hours: 40 hours per week Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee and coordinate all inventory-related activities to ensure accurate stock control, efficient workflows, and a high-performing team within a bonded warehouse environment. Your Tasks Leading, coaching, and managing the Inventory team to achieve and exceed SLAs. Coordinating, optimising, and implementing inventory processes, including planning daily operational activities. Acting as the first point of contact for inventory-related queries, process issues, and system faults, ensuring timely escalation to relevant departments. Identifying stock discrepancies or process deviations and initiating corrective actions, including follow-up and success tracking. Ensuring compliance with inventory accuracy targets and wider SLA and bonded warehouse requirements. Working within SAP and other inventory management systems to maintain accurate and compliant records. Supporting resource planning activities, including staffing and equipment requirements. Creating, analysing, and reporting key inventory and compliance metrics. Ensuring adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and service-level expectations. Carrying out people-management responsibilities, including training, development, and performance conversations. Qualifications Experience working with computerised inventory or warehouse management systems (SAP experience desirable). Previous experience working with customs & Trade documentation is highly advantageous. Previous experience working in a bonded warehouse is highly advantageous. Experience in a temperature-controlled environment is also an advantage. Reliable, organised, and able to manage time effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good numerical ability and accurate record-keeping skills. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies. Demonstrates ownership and accountability, managing tasks through to completion professionally. Strong customer and service focus, both internally and externally.
