We believe luxury is the freedom to be yourself and explore desires: whatever, whenever.  ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Style Manager, as Senior Style Supervisor you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the department, deputising for the Style Manager in their absence. We are looking for someone who enjoys managing others, is comfortable working with computer systems and administration, and understands the cleanliness standards required of a luxury hotel. As Senior Style Supervisor, key aspects of your role will include: • Supervise the daily operation of the Style (Housekeeping) department • Manage the team’s productivity • Closely monitor and update Opera and HOTSOS systems • Be the key liaison between Style, Welcome Office (Front Office) and Engineering to ensure clear and consistent communication on a daily basis • Manage stock, including all room amenities and cleaning products • Assist the Style Manager in recruiting and retaining talent • Train Room Attendants, Public Area and Porters to become experts in their role • Manage timekeeping records on a daily and weekly basis • Assist the Style Supervisor team with inspecting guest rooms after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met where required • Be a role model within the department, assisting the team to perform their role when required • Take ownership of guest issues and see them through to resolution • Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety protocols • Develop teamwork throughout your team • Be a W brand ambassador, ensuring the brand’s voice is present in your interactions with guests and talent Our ideal Senior Style Supervisor is someone who has: • A keen eye for detail • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills • Confidence interacting with guests • Confidence in using online systems with a good level of IT literacy • Good communication skills – both written and verbal English • Previous experience working in five star, luxury/lifestyle hotels • A positive mindset • A genuine passion for working in hospitality In return for your hard work, we give you: • World class training and development, including leadership development • Unlimited career opportunities (internationally and locally) • Wellness and mental health programmes • Discounted accommodation, food and beverage in over 9,000 hotels all over the world! • Discounts for your friends and family • Specially curated discounts in thousands of shops ABOUT THE PROPERTY W Edinburgh brings bold architecture and a vibrant lifestyle offering to the Scottish capital.
