Join Change Grow Live as a Meet & Greet Volunteer and play a vital role in helping individuals grow, recover, and thrive.
Responsibilities
As a Meet & Greet Volunteer, you’ll work closely with our staff teams to support people in recovery. You will be the first point of contact to our service users and visitors therefore a cheery and caring disposition is essential as you will be a key part of someone’s journey to a better life.
You’ll also help service users connect with wider support networks such as mutual aid groups (AA, NA, SMART Recovery), education and training opportunities, and community volunteering.
Key Activities:
Welcome new and existing service users into treatment
Ensure our service users feel safe and secure by offering a safe space to talk about their needs
Offering our service users a drink on arrival
Signpost individuals to community resources and recovery motivators
What You’ll Gain:

Good verbal and written communication skills
Basic IT literacy
