We’re excited to offer multiple bank staff opportunities across our settings in East and West Sussex. These roles are ideal for anyone looking to gain valuable experience in a childcare setting and be part of a friendly, dedicated team.
We would ideally be looking for someone with good availability over the term time across the week.
As a Nursery Assistant, you will support the nursery team in providing high-quality care and early education for young children. Working alongside experienced staff, you will help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. You will assist in following the EYFS framework to support children’s individual development and contribute to building positive relationships with families and colleagues.

Pay:
* £8.00-£12.71 per hour (depending on age)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• An interest or passion for childcare/early years development
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Provide safe, high-quality care and activities that support individual and group development
• Plan and deliver creative indoor and outdoor play experiences
• Act as key person, monitoring and recording children’s progress
• Follow EYFS guidance and nursery policies
• Work closely with parents/carers
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks, promoting good nutrition and social eating
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas before and after meals
• Support children with personal care and toileting needs
