Canberra Health Services is seeking an experienced and professionally grounded Spiritual Care Practitioner to join our Spiritual Support Services team. We are a contemporary, demographic-led service that delivers inclusive, person-centred spiritual care to people of all faiths, beliefs, cultures, and worldviews. Our team is integrated within the health service and is committed to providing equitable, responsive, and evidence-informed spiritual care that reflects the diversity of our community.
Working across acute, sub-acute, and critical care settings, you will support patients, families, carers, and staff through some of life's most significant experiences, including trauma, serious illness, grief, loss, recovery, and end-of-life care.
We are looking for someone who is emotionally mature, resilient, and adaptable, with a strong pastoral identity, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. You will be confident engaging with people from diverse backgrounds and able to provide compassionate, professional support in a fast-paced and often high-pressure healthcare environment.
