Depending on each client’s needs, your visits may include: Companionship and meaningful conversation Personal care (washing, dressing, bathing) Light household tasks Medication prompts Meal preparation Attending appointments or shopping About You You do not need previous care experience to apply. Qualifications Essential Requirements: Valid UK Driving Licence Own vehicle with appropriate insurance for business use Right to work in the UK Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain) Satisfactory references from previous employers or character referees Preferred Qualifications: Health and Safety awareness or basic training Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Physical fitness and mobility to support personal care tasks Willingness to undertake City & Guilds-accredited dementia training and ongoing professional development Reliable transport and punctuality record Flexibility and adaptability to support client continuity Additional Information Be part of the Home Instead community and work with friendly like-minded people who share your values.
