Job Title: Administration Assistant Location: Eltham Salary: £23,000-£25,000 Type: Contract until March (potential to extend to permanent upon review) The Asset Survey Administrator will play a vital role in supporting the effective delivery of the Stock Condition Survey programme. Based in our Eltham office, the position is primarily responsible for coordinating resident appointments, managing surveyor diaries, and ensuring that all surveys are arranged efficiently and with minimal disruption to tenants and leading a small team of junior administrative staff. Reporting directly to the Head of Asset Information, the role also provides essential administrative support to this individual for the smooth operation of day-to-day activities and processes. What You'll Be Doing Schedule and confirm stock condition survey appointments across the client’s housing portfolio. Act as the Admin Team’s first point of contact for residents, arranging surveys by phone, email and letter. Coordinate surveyors and contractors to optimise daily schedules. Maintain accurate appointment, cancellation and survey records using BG templates and software. Monitor survey targets and flag issues or delays. Lead assistant administrators and monitor performance against targets. Provide excellent service and address resident queries professionally. Provide administrative support to the Head of Asset Information and wider team. Comply with data protection and confidentiality policies. Support the Head of Asset Information in improving surveying strategies, processes, efficiency and accuracy. Use our intranet to help manage, forecast and issue stock condition programme fees accurately and promptly. Projects working on Stock Condition Surveys Essential skills/qualifications Confidence in speaking on the phone Good written and verbal communication skills in English Use of excel to filter and export data Maths and English C and above (or equivalent) Organised Desire to support others Skills/Experience GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent). Experience in a similar role, managing operations, scheduling works or operatives and providing administrative support. Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, CRM and scheduling tools. Strong organisational, scheduling, communication and interpersonal skills. Strong data analysis and process improvement skills. Desirable: stock condition programme scheduling, invoicing and credit-control experience. Desirable: team leadership experience and social housing knowledge.
