As a participant in our 12-month Corporate Placements Programme in the Interior
Design Department, you’re not just gaining hands-on experience at our Europe,
Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Headquarters in Watford – you’re spreading the

• Location: At our EMEA Headquarters in Watford, with some flexibility
depending on team and business need. You will benefit from

Our Placement Opportunity
You will support a range of design projects for our hotels across EMEA. You will
have the opportunity to learn on the job and gain a practical understanding of
interior design within the hospitality industry.
This role includes generic design support across the design team and will allow
you to own and manage small projects over the course of the internship.
More specifically, you will be:
• Supporting with design for projects across Europe, including new
developments, conversions, and renovations of existing hotels.
• Working closely with the Director of Design to establish design direction and
key brand identity elements specific to EMEA.
• Preparing design narratives and material boards.
• Researching new designers and managing the designer database for EMEA.
• Creating preferred designer lists for projects.
• Meeting existing and new fixtures, furnishings, and equipment (FF&E)
suppliers to review and find new products.
• Managing the FF&E library.
• Assisting with general team admin duties for the design team.
• Assisting in coordination and planning of team meetings.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking individuals who embody the Hilton Values in addition to the
following criteria:
• A strong sense of alignment to our culture and values.
• A current bachelor’s or master’s student completing an Interior Design
related degree that includes a required 12-month year in industry placement.
• Availability to begin full-time employment on 5th July 2027, for a full-time
12-month placement.
• You must have the independent right to work in the UK for the full duration
of the 12-month placement. Please note that this role is not eligible for
visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route, so we are unable to consider
applications from candidates who would require sponsorship. If you hold a
visa or status that allows you to work in the UK full-time without
sponsorship (e.g. Settled Status, Pre-Settled Status, where a 12-month work
placement is a permitted, required & assessed part of your UK University
degree, or other independent work permissions), you are welcome to apply.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• A strong desire to progress a career in the hotel industry.
• Proactive with a strong willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good at planning, keeping records and attention to detail.
• Passionate about driving the right-first-time approach to project
development.
• Strong in Microsoft Office applications, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
• A positive 'can-do' attitude, proactivity and resilience.
