Occupational Therapist – Social Care

Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a Social Care team based in Haringey. This is an excellent opportunity for an OT who enjoys community-based practice and supporting adults to maximise independence, improve wellbeing and achieve their personal goals. The successful candidate will provide specialist Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions, working alongside service users, carers and wider professionals to deliver safe, person-centred outcomes. What will your responsibilities be? Complete Occupational Therapy assessments for adults with a range of needs Assess functional ability and identify barriers to independence Develop person-centred intervention plans Recommend appropriate equipment and adaptations where required Complete risk assessments and support safe decision-making Promote independence and wellbeing through strengths-based practice Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies Support service users and carers to achieve agreed outcomes Maintain accurate and timely case records Benefits: Competitive rate of £38.00 per hour Opportunity to work within a London Social Care service Varied and rewarding caseload Supportive professional environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people’s independence Qualifications & Experience: HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist Experience working within community/social care settings Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills Ability to manage a caseload effectively Experience working with adults with complex needs Excellent communication and MDT working skills Confidence working independently within a community environment Why Liquid Personnel?
