About the Role
We have opportunities to provide one-on-one lifestyle support to individuals
with disabilities in their homes or the community, with travel between clients
and working short, split shifts required. We also offer roles in our Day
Program, which caters to the interests and abilities of our clients and often
includes social outings, recreational and leisure activities whilst encouraging
positive social participation and community integration. Shifts will be during
daytime hours primarily Monday to Friday. Occasional weekends.

Key Responsibilities
• Adapt to changing routines and support needs in dynamic environments – No day
is the same!
• Deliver person-centred support to clients with complex medical and
behavioural needs
• Follow behaviour support strategies aligned with individual care plans
• Facilitate inclusive community activities to promote social engagement
• Transport clients to appointments and activities using a company van
• Assist with personal care, including toileting, showering, mobility, and
manual handling
• Empower clients to find their strengths and promote independence
Skills & Experience
• An unrestricted New South Wales driver’s licence and access to a reliable
vehicle
• Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and
desktop
• A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or
HLTAID011
Successful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks;
including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check, Working
with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.

• Pay rates starting from $45.28 (casual) as per the SCHADS award
• Do the work you love during daytime hours only - no overnight or late-night
shifts
