About the Role
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is supporting people with disability in
shared housing or in their own home, providing various supports including
personal care and daily living assistance. You can expect to work across a 24/7
roster.

Key Responsibilities
* Support clients with mental health challenges, behaviours of concern, and
complex needs
* Assist with personal care including bathing support, toileting and dressing
* Advocate for client choice, expression, and active daily engagement
* Think outside the box and adapt to the preferences of each individual
* Availability for sleepover shifts is essential
Skills & Experience
* Strong background in mental health support
* Ability to implement positive behaviour support strategies
* An unrestricted New South Wales driver’s licence and access to a reliable
vehicle
* Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and
desktop
* A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or
HLTAID011
Successful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks;
including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS
Worker Screening Check.
