Salary £13.45 per hour | Permanent, Variable hours | Part Time, 10 hours per week | Term Time only | Revoe Learning Academy, Blackpool This part-time role is not open to sponsorship. Working Hours/Days: • Ten hours per week equalling two hours per day, Monday to Friday 11.30am - 1.30pm, Term Time only • Four cleaning days per year above contracted hours Please refer to the  Job Description and Person Specification [https://lancashire-county-council-umbraco-sites.uksouth01.umbraco.io/media/qyojlhaj/catering-assistant.pdf].  Lancashire County Council provide catering services to over 500 schools across Lancashire, serving over 60,000 school meals per day and we are looking for committed individuals to join the service. You will work as part of a team in Revo Learning Academy providing high quality, healthy, balanced meals for school children. Key responsibilities vary between job roles: • Prepare the dining area for service, including the moving and setting up of furniture and putting away. • Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages. • Clean all equipment and catering areas. What we are looking for: • Ability to work as part of a team. • Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative. • Good customer care skills • Previous catering and food preparation experience is essential. • Attention to detail essential. If you are successful in your application, you will initially join Lancashire County Council. However, as part of the planned transition, your employment will transfer to one of the new unitary councils from April 2028, subject to the implementation of the reorganisation and relevant employment legislation. Throughout this period, our focus remains on delivering excellent services to our communities.
