Here at GXO Logistics we are currently recruiting for a full-time,
permanent, Warehouse Operative to join us at our team in Emerson Green, Bristol
(BS16 7FQ), supporting our customer, Sainsbury’s. This role involves working in
either ambient or chilled environments. From receiving and storing products to
picking, packing, and dispatching orders, you could be involved in all aspects
of our warehouse operations.
We are currently recruiting for either a 6‑week rota (any 5 out of 7 days) or
a Thursday‑to‑Monday schedule, with shifts running 14:00–22:00 in ambient.

• An annual salary of £31,843.79 is offered, with a 33% premium applied to
hours worked between 20:00 and 06:00

What you’ll do on a typical day:
• Our Warehouse Operatives work in the chill and ambient chamber – this is a
great way to learn all about our business and how we support the wider supply
chain
• Picking and packing orders from a wide range of products using wristwatch
picking system
• Get involved in other warehouse-related duties that may arise during your
shift
• Comply with all health and safety regulations within the warehouse
What you need to succeed at GXO:
• Willingness to work in a chill or ambient environment
• Previous experience in a similar position would be advantageous
• Flexibility and a ‘can do’, right first time and passionate approach
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting, pulling, and
pushing
