This role sits within the UK&I Life & Health Client Markets team, a dynamic and
collaborative group that is central to Swiss Re's Go-to-Market strategy. The
team is responsible for the delivery of both in-force and new business solutions
— from enhancing core reinsurance support and services to executing complex
transactions. As Senior Financial Solutions Manager, you will work in close
partnership with Senior Client Managers and supporting functions across the
business, playing a pivotal role in shaping how Swiss Re engages with and
delivers value to its clients. The team operates in a fast-paced, intellectually
stimulating environment where innovation, collaboration, and client centricity
are at the core of everything we do.

About You
You are a commercially minded, technically strong professional with a deep
understanding of the life re/insurance landscape. You bring a collaborative

to complex problems.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

relevant experience in financial management solution delivery
• Extensive professional experience in life re/insurance, wholesale banking, or
related fields, with a strong track record of delivering structured financial
solutions
• Proficient knowledge of key financial and regulatory frameworks such as IFRS
17, Solvency II, Solvency UK and/or economic capital models, with the ability
to analyse companies' risk profiles (asset and liability side), capital
positions, and key financial metrics
• Proven experience managing and developing senior-level client relationships,
including engagement at CFO level and above
• Strong knowledge of the UK and Irish insurance market, including commercial
and technical dynamics
These are additional
nice to haves:
• Actuarial qualification (FIA or equivalent) — a strong advantage in this role
• Experience with structured re/insurance and longevity products
• Ability to translate complex technical details into clear, accessible
language for diverse audiences
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively and challenge assumptions, bringing
innovative solutions to complex problems
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within
cross-functional teams
• Strong communication skills across all levels of management, with a confident
and personable approach
