Culina Group is a market leading food and drink logistics provider across the chilled and ambient temperature ranges, providing warehousing, distribution, contract packing and a series of value added solutions Job Description We’re looking for professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our CML team in Telford, supporting our Long-Life Chilled operation and delivering to key retail customers across the UK. This is a permanent night driving role offering full-time stability, and the opportunity to be part of a trusted logistics operation. You’ll be joining a supportive transport team where safe driving, reliable service and high professional standards are valued every day. Shift patterns available 5 on 3 off Nights (start time between 18:00 – 23:00) Due to the nature of the products being delivered, our drivers will have 3 hour start windows to ensure they are flexible depending on volume Pay rates Our HGV Drivers have strong earning potential, with OTE earnings ranging from £44812 to £52000 depending on shift pattern, overtime and applicable allowances. What you’ll be doing: Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises across the UK. Complete nationwide deliveries to Regional Distribution Centres Load and unload where required using PPT equipment. Report to the Transport team at the start of each shift and keep them updated on delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies. Complete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office. Follow company procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards. Manage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and tachograph rules. Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects correctly and take responsibility for your unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required. Maintain a professional standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times. Take advantage of night-out runs where available, if this is something you are interested in. Qualifications What we’re looking for: Valid C+E Licence. Current valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph cards. Minimum 6 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred. Newly qualified drivers will be considered if you show the right attitude and willingness to learn. No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DD or DR code convictions. Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive legislation. Ability to complete vehicle checks and report defects correctly. Commitment to on-site health and safety requirements.
