We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President,
Production Services Application Support to join our FX Execution Services team.
This role is located in London
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
• Define and execute the global Production Services strategy, aligning support
capabilities with business priorities, technology modernization initiatives,
and enterprise risk management objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global team of production
services managers, engineers, and support professionals across multiple
regions.
• Strengthen incident, problem, change, and escalation management processes to
reduce repeat issues, control gaps, and operational risk while improving
platform stability.
• Champion an automation-first mindset, leveraging AI, observability, and
modern engineering practices to reduce manual effort and improve service
quality.
• Provide strategic leadership across EFX platforms, ensuring strong
understanding of front-to-back trade flows, market structure, and critical
business services supporting execution and trading activities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior business, technology, and operations
leaders, influencing strategic decisions, investment priorities, and service
delivery models.
• Drive improvements in availability, resiliency, SLA performance, incident
reduction, and time to restore service for critical platforms.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline,
or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience across multiple areas of information technology, with significant
experience in the securities, banking, or financial services industry
strongly preferred.
• Extensive leadership experience in global production services and application
support organizations supporting mission-critical platforms across multiple
regions.
• Proven experience leading large-scale global teams, including management of
managers and senior technical leaders, with responsibility for organizational
strategy, workforce planning, budgeting, and talent development.
• Demonstrated success building high-performing teams, developing future
leaders, and creating inclusive cultures focused on accountability,
collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Proven track record of leading incident, problem, and change management, with
measurable improvements in stability, reduction of recurring issues, and
strong service recovery execution in high-pressure environments.
• Demonstrated automation-first and AI-enabled mindset, with experience driving
observability, tooling, operational analytics, and process automation
initiatives.
• Strong ownership mentality and execution focus, with the ability to take
strategic initiatives from concept through delivery while embedding
sustainable outcomes.
• Deep technical and operational experience across production environments,
including monitoring, observability, resiliency, infrastructure, middleware,
cloud technologies, and enterprise application support.
• Experience supporting EFX, Capital Markets, or electronic trading platforms,
with strong understanding of trading workflows, execution services, and
front-to-back processing.
• Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive strategic
service improvements across operating models, governance, risk, compliance,
and control frameworks.
• Executive presence with exceptional communication, presentation, and
stakeholder management skills.
• Strong collaboration and partnership skills with the ability to influence
across business, operations, engineering, and support organizations.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux, CI/CD pipelines, and messaging
platforms such as Kafka and MQ, along with programming and scripting
languages including Java and Python.
