Job Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team at Brannel School, in St Austell. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our food service operations, ensuring high-quality meals are prepared and served to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. This position is 10hrs Monday to Friday - 12-2pm Assist in the preparation of delicious meals and snacks, following recipes and portion guidelines Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, counter, and dining areas Comply with all health and safety regulations and food safety standards Provide friendly and efficient customer service during meal service Assist with food inventory management and stock rotation Operate and clean kitchen equipment and utensils Adapt to changing priorities and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Passion for food service and customer satisfaction Basic food preparation skills and knowledge of kitchen operations Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights for extended periods Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities Knowledge of food safety principles and willingness to learn and apply health and safety procedures Previous experience in a food service role is a plus, but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude Additional Information On site parking Rate Per Hour: £12.71 Employment Type: Permanent • Term Time Hours Per Week: 10
