Lotus Cars builds world-class, high-performance and lightweight sports cars that are sold all around the world. Lotus Cars Limited is the manufacturing site of Lotus in the UK. Here we produce all sportscars types such as the Emira and the Evija. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Process Supporter in the Manufacturing Department to join us in our manufacturing plant based in Hethel. Summary: As a Process Supporter within USLOT you will be required to lead a team of Production Operatives to ensure they complete their daily tasks and processes safely, accurately and on time every cycle, ensuring production is guaranteed. This is a Supervisor level role, in out Paint Shop. What you'll do: Respect: Deliver effective communication within the production area on daily targets and performance, providing feedback sessions around the Process Supporter cube Guarantee production capability at the start of every shift by ensuring all parts, process, and tooling is checked and present Ensure process adherence, optimise for improvement, and manage budget through scrap/consumable control Drive skill/team versatility through training, coaching and collaboration with Operators and Process Leader Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders Promote job rotation to maintain knowledge of daily tasks One Team: Lead the team in the Lotus Way behaviors, continuous improvement, problem resolution and excellent working environments Initiate problem-solving, escalate as needed, and record non-conformances Maintain SHE and 5S standards, assist in safety audits, and lead investigations Ambition: Evaluate team performance through regular reviews and appraisals Conduct return-to-work interviews and manage attendance, ensuring policies and procedures are upheld Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Ensure complicity with SHE regulations Proactively contribute to creating a good team atmosphere Drive: Achieve volume targets through process adherence Implement contingency plans during stoppages, lead SOS meetings, and oversee Shell 1 Problem Resolution Lead the team through daily planning of work allocation and daily shop floor leadership to maximise efficient productivity Coach and support team members to meet the agreed objectives Communicate team objectives/KPIs and review through Cube review Motivate and coach the team to meet operational goals Set a high standard of behaviour and performance, promoting Lotus Way values What you'll bring: Have the success of the team and Lotus at the heart of all actions Role model our values and behaviours in all interactions and actions Strong leadership and engagement skill Ability to lead a cross-functional team effectively Excellent communication and presentation skills Methodical and structured in daily decision making Good problem-solving skills An understanding of cost/budget management Excellent time management and prioritisation skills What we offer: Enjoy your 25 vacation days, (+ up up to an additional 2 days for length or service) giving you ample opportunity to unwind, explore, or binge-watch your favourite shows.
