Job Details
Do you have Catering Experience or a Qualification such as an SVQ, City & Guilds
or equivalent?
In this catering post, you would be responsible for all activities in the
kitchen and its surrounds including cooking, organisation and supervision of
food service.
Supervising staff working in the kitchen.
You must be aware of HACCP Procedures and ensure all Paperwork is completed
and submitted according.
Understanding dietary and nutritional needs.
This work is about providing customer service, in a busy catering environment.
Ensuring visitors are catered for accordingly – this involves preparing and
serving simple meals, snacks and beverages to clients and recording any
payments. General kitchen and dining room duties (for example washing up,
setting up and clearing away equipment and tables), and cleaning of the kitchen,
its surround and equipment.
Training on In House systems will be provided. Working towards an Intermediate
Food Hygiene Certificate will be essential once in post.

• You will earn a competitive salary of £26,786.83 - £29,170.80 pro-rata and

The Person
Catering Experience or a Qualification such as an SVQ, City & Guilds or
equivalent is essential for this post.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of
Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become
a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
Provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a Team.
You will be required to attend an Induction Training before starting in post
